DTCC Eyes 2Q Launch For FX Swap Data Warehouse

A leading trade processor and settlements provider in the global financial markets is working to create a log of privately traded currency derivatives that would help regulators and participants monitor the $64.7 trillion market. The data warehouse, which the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation hopes to launch in the second quarter, will display real-time trade sizes and prices in response to a post-crisis regulatory overhaul that seeks to track risks building in the banking system.
