Steven Maijoor, the chairman of Europe’s new securities regulator, has been piling up the frequent flier miles. On a recent three-day trip, Mr. Maijoor, a former college professor, met fellow regulators in Frankfurt, spoke to institutional investors in Tallinn, Estonia, and held meetings with European politicians in Brussels.
