ETF Chiefs Join War of Words Between Rivals

The war of words between providers of exchange traded funds has reached a new pitch, as Larry Fink, BlackRock’s chief executive, stepped up his criticism of swap-based exchange traded funds and the firms that sell them. Mr Fink said providers of synthetic ETFs should “tell the investor what they actually are. You’re getting a swap. You’re counterparty to the issuer”.
