CFTC Names Chief of New Swaps Unit

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has appointed Gary Barnett, head of the U.S. derivatives and structured-finance practice at law firm Linklaters LLP in New York, to head a new division overseeing swap dealers and intermediaries.
