CFTC Moves to Delay Some Swaps Rules Until Dec. 31

Commodity Futures Trading Commission members are set to consider delaying certain swaps rules until as late as Dec. 31, 2011, in order to head off confusion in the over-the-counter derivatives market as regulators miss the approaching one-year deadline set by Congress for writing the new rules.
