DTCC has launched its Equity Derivatives Reporting Repository (EDRR), which will hold key position data, including product types, notional value, open trade positions, maturity and currency denomination for participants' transactions, as well as counterparty type.

Efforts to ensure a globally harmonised approach to the storage of over-the-counter derivatives data made progress on Thursday when The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) said UK regulators had approved the setting up of a trade information warehouse in Britain.
