CFTC Open Meeting on Feb. 23 to Consider Swap Data Reporting, Block Sizes and More

The CFTC announced that it will hold a public meeting thisweek to discuss one of the final swaps rules and a proposed rule under the Dodd-Frank Act. The meeting will be held at CFTC headquarters in D.C. at 9:30 AM, February 23 and will cover the following:
- Final Rule: Swap Dealer and Major Swap Participant Recordkeeping and Reporting, Duties, and Conflicts of Interest Policies and Procedures; Futures Commission Merchant and Introducing Broker Conflicts of Interest Policies and Procedures; Swap Dealer, Major Swap Participant, and Futures Commission Merchant Chief Compliance Officer; and
- Proposed Rule: Procedures to Establish Appropriate Minimum Block Sizes for Large Notional Off-Facility Swaps and Block Trades; Further Measures to Protect the Identities of Parties to Swap Transactions (Reproposal).
